Butte Creek Scout Camp

We wanted to share an exciting summer camp option for your Scout — Butte Creek Scout Ranch, a one-of-a-kind Cub Scout camp located in Scotts Mills, Oregon.

Butte Creek is the only Cub Scout horse ranch on the West Coast, and the whole camp is set in an immersive Wild West frontier theme. Activities include:

• Horseback riding
• Archery and BB shooting
• Gold panning
• Fishing in a stocked trout pond
• Farm animal visits
• Evening campfire programs and a Street Show on Main Street

There are multiple sessions available throughout the summer, so there's a good chance you'll find dates that work for your family.

Individual Scouts can register through the Rover Camp program, which groups individual Scouts together for activities so they still get the full camp experience and make new friends. To attend as a Rover Scout, a parent or guardian who is registered with a pack must also attend camp alongside their Scout.

Kristen, Reed (Tiger Den), and Miles (Bear Den) will be attending Session 9 — August 5–8. They'd love to have more Pack 972 families join them that week!
