Welcome to the Wolves Den ā where 2nd graders start spreading their wings! The Wolf year marks an exciting shift as Scouts begin taking on more responsibility for their own Scouting journey.
Wolf adventures include:
šØ Simple building and engineering projects
š² Outdoor skills ā fire safety, Leave No Trace, nature identification
š Physical fitness and active games
š Performing and public speaking activities
š¤ Community service projects
š” Creative problem solving and STEM challenges
What to expect:
š Regular Pack and den meetings
š Pack campouts, Rain Gutter Regatta, Hiking and the Pinewood Derby

Earning the Wolf rank badge and adventure pins
š Bridging up to Bears at the end of the school year
What Parents Need to Know:

Most den meetings no longer require a parent participation, but we still encourage all Pack 972 families to stay involved and join us whenever they can!
š Uniforms
A cub scout shirt and belt is required to be worn at all Pack and Den meetings and events as well as all public facing events and outings.
š Pinewood Derby Event Coordinators
As part of scouting's emphasis on Service, the Wolf families will host the Pack's biggest event of the year: The Pinewood Derby! The Wolves will take the lead and organize the distribution of the Pinewood Derby kits, order trophies and food, and handle the day of logistics.
