Community Service Projects
Community service is at the heart of what it means to be a Scout. Giving back teaches Scouts to look beyond themselves, take pride in their community, and put the Scout Law into action in the real world. Whether it's picking up litter at a local park, collecting food for neighbors in need, or lending a hand at a community event, these moments leave a lasting impression — on the community and on the Scouts themselves.
Pack 972 is committed to making service a regular part of our program throughout the year. We look for opportunities across all seasons to get our Scouts out and doing good, because we believe that the habit of helping others is one of the most important things a young person can carry into adulthood. Keep an eye on our events calendar — there are always more chances to serve coming up!
